RisingVR is launching its 3rd year of programming, brought to you in support from Canada Council for the Arts, R.I.S.E, CQBC Business Consulting, Futures & Fringes and AstroSankofa Arts Initiative. This free 12-week virtual program is designed to equip Black creators with fundamental virtual reality, business pitching, and design thinking skills. RisingVR programs empower Afro-Diasporic creators with strategic digital knowledge and the capacity in identifying and understanding the challenges, issues, and opportunities in creating through virtual reality. Participants solve real-world problems leveraging their own lived experiences and communities to innovate solutions using VR media and business foundations.
