Association Seeks to Support Sudbury's Black Physicians
The Black Physicians’ Association of Ontario (BPAO) is launching a Sudbury hub to connect Black physicians, residents, and medical students, addressing healthcare disparities and burnout concerns. The Sudbury hub, part of a broader initiative in Ottawa, London, Hamilton, and Kingston, aims to support members working in rural areas outside the Greater Toronto Area. BPAO collaborates with Ontario Health on the Black Health Plan, addressing chronic conditions and fostering scholarships for Black youth in healthcare.
