Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, Jenna Sudds, announced that the government has invested in 460 projects across the country through the Investment Readiness Program (IRP). These projects enable social purpose organizations to enhance their capabilities, access social finance investments, and conduct activities like market analyses, product development, business planning, and acquiring technical expertise. In total, $100 million has been invested in 1,140 social purpose organizations, strengthening the social innovation and social finance ecosystem and contributing to more resilient and inclusive communities.
