OCAD University has unveiled its Cultural Policy Hub, a collaborative initiative fostering arts and culture sector growth in policymaking, research, and knowledge exchange. Partnering with artists, researchers, and leaders from academia, government, and nonprofits, the hub, led by Executive Director Miriam Kramer, aims to enhance cultural policy accessibility. Headed by expert Kelly Wilhelm, the hub will address key issues like AI and intellectual property, housing affordability, and cultural spaces. Funded by entities like the Metcalf Foundation, the hub aligns with OCAD’s mission to drive impact in art and design, contributing to evidence-based policy changes.
