The Toronto Foundation has launched a 150-day #PowerOfUs campaign to address alarming trends revealed in the 19th biennial Toronto’s Vital Signs Report. Revealing increased isolation, depression, and unaffordability, the report prompts urgent action to change the city’s trajectory. The campaign encourages individuals and organizations to take one action over 150 days to enhance social connections and collective well-being. Partnering with Volunteer Toronto, the initiative includes an online tool, volunteer opportunities, and $1,000 microgrants. Over 30 organizations support #PowerOfUs, recognizing the crucial role of civic engagement in addressing mental health, social connection, and community challenges.
