With support and collaboration from a dedicated Working Group of community members, service providers, and advocates, Seniors Services and Long-Term Care (SSLTC) has revitalized the 2SLGBTQI+ Tool Kit to support long-term care homes and other service providers in working with the 2SLGBTQI+ older adults, called Leading and Learning with Pride. Built on earlier versions released in 2008 and 2017, the 2022 Tool Kit will empower staff to respond to the needs of 2SLGBTQI+ seniors while working to prevent stigma and discrimination. Content is also relevant to those providing support and allyship to 2SLGBTQI+ seniors, such as family, friends, community members, caregivers, and substitute decision makers.
