The Ride for Black Health (RBH) strives to promote healthcare within Toronto’s Black community by supporting Taibu Community Health Centre, while highlighting the power individuals have to make a difference in their communities. Last year, the fundraiser raised just over $10,000, and this year participants are aiming to surpass their record. The raised funds will go towards supporting initiatives that will provide additional academic, tutorial and parental support for Black youth and children who have been impacted by COVID-19 and school closures. RBH hopes to bring awareness to issues surrounding Black health and inequitable access to healthcare in Canada.
