In memory of Denise Brooks, the late Executive Director of Hamilton Urban Core CHC and a respected mentor and advocate, TAIBU has launched its first-ever podcast, the “Be in Good Health Show – In Honour of Denise Brooks.” Sadly, Denise passed away before she could bring her vision of a platform for discussing the impact of anti-Black racism, poverty, and social issues on vulnerable communities to life. On the third anniversary of her passing, TAIBU decided to fulfill her wish and pay tribute to her life and legacy.

The initial episodes will focus on Denise’s life and heartfelt conversations with her sister Vicky Brooks-Johnson and her colleague and friend Nhalaloenhle ‘Nala’ Ndawana. The podcast aims to raise awareness, promote dialogue, and create positive change in marginalized communities.
