About BCLTI

A national learning space for Black leaders to strengthen skills, share knowledge, and drive systems transformation.

Through our ongoing work with community partners, allies, and funders, we have learned that programs and services play a critical role in responding to the ongoing and sometimes urgent needs of Black communities. At the same time, we recognize that lasting impact requires addressing the root causes of systemic inequities through deeper systems transformation.

To do both, we must strengthen the organizational and adaptive capacity of Black-led, Black-focused, and Black-serving (B3) nonprofits. BCLTI will support this by serving as a dedicated space to seed, grow, and sustain innovative approaches to capacity building, learning, and problem-solving. It is designed to enhance sector capacity through programs and services while also advancing medium to long-term systems transformation.
